Privacy Policy — teulda for Android

Effective 2026-10-12 · Version 1

This English text is provided for convenience. The Korean version is the binding one; if the two ever disagree, the Korean text governs.

teulda never sends what you listened to off your phone. The app has no internet permission at all, no account, no server that receives your listening record, no ad network and no analytics. Everything described below happens on your phone.

1. What the app reads

teulda asks you to turn on Android's "Notification access" so that it can see the media sessions your music apps publish: title, artist, album, artwork, playback position, duration, play state and the app's package name. It uses them to show what is playing and, when you tap a control, to send play, pause, next, previous or seek back to that app.

It does not read the content of your notifications — no messages, no emails, nothing. Its notification listener is empty on purpose, and an automated test checks that the source code never opens a notification.

2. What the app stores on your phone

All of this lives only in the app's private storage. Other apps cannot read it, and it is excluded from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer.

3. What leaves your phone

Nothing, unless you press Export. Then the file goes to the place you choose in Android's file chooser, and from there it is yours. Importing a Last.fm or Spotify history reads a file you choose, once, on the phone. We keep no copy of anything.

4. Permissions

The app uses one special access: Notification access, which you turn on in Android Settings and can turn off at any time. Nothing else: no internet, no storage, no microphone, no camera, no location, no contacts and no "query all packages". To show the readable name of a music app, the app asks Android only for the labels of apps that appear in your launcher.

5. Other companies and code

There are no third-party SDKs, no ad-network or analytics libraries, and no network code. The app is built with open-source Kotlin, AndroidX and Jetpack Compose libraries (see Settings > Open-source licenses); none of them transmit data. Google Play itself may collect information about the installation under Google's own policy, which is outside this app. The one thin line at the top of the app is a notice about our other programs, apps and games. It is a plain link: only when you tap it does your browser open projectteamforyou.com, and nothing about you or your listening is passed along. What that website does is governed by its own policy. You can hide the line for a week with the × on it.

6. Deleting your data

Delete one song (Library > tap a row > Delete) or everything (Library > More > Delete all history). Uninstalling the app removes all of it. We cannot delete anything on a server because there is none.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including age.

8. The website

The website teulda.com has its own privacy policy. The app does not connect to it.

9. Your rights

Because the record is only on your phone, you can see, annotate, delete and export it yourself without asking us. If you need anything else, write to the address below and we will answer without delay.

10. Security

The part of the app that handles your record contains no network code, the manifest declares no internet permission, and automated tests enforce both. Data sits in Android's app sandbox.

11. Contact and responsible person

Responsible person: Lee Yusang (Projectteamforyou) · [email protected] · +82-70-7620-7256

In Korea you may also contact the Personal Information Infringement Report Center (privacy.kisa.or.kr, dial 118).

12. Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the change and its effective date in the app and at https://teulda.com/android/privacy. If the app starts handling more than described here, this policy will say so first.
